Ok, apparently even though there is an option to post links, every single one is spam. the moderators at this site are stupid, This is not spam because it is completely on topic and the moderator who perma-banned me is an idiot. I see a link button above, but its just bait to ban anyone who uses it.
Artwork does not come just in the form of images and pictures, Art is everything created. and Threshold is a Halo 2 machinima that me and my Clan mates have worked on for 5 months. and I'm sorry if you may have misinterpreted the last post as spam so lets start over clean. If there was a way for me to post a video player in this thread I would.

Also they didn't ban you for using a link. If you read the rules, you'd see that #7 is no site-whoring.
EDIT: Watched the starting of the movie. I couldn't stand to watch anymore. It was so cliche and cheesy that it hurt. It was like The Prisoner, except The Prisoner was good.

im not attempting to do any 'site whoring". but im trying to make 5 months of work get to as many people as it can.

I live about 5 minutes away from the location of the PAX and i am already gonna be there and plan o have fun.

If the mods want be more sincere. fine.

Im sorry about "site whoring" while on topic. and im sorry that it was misunderstood and thought to be spam. Most everyone in the machinima community has considered this movie a work of art, as it is. and maybe we can start out on a new, more positive, foot.

Videos and Movies actually ARE art. they are something you create yourself and they serve an artistic, entertainment purpose.

to compare a legit, (not porn), machinima movie to porn is the worst comparison ever....



and the beginning off the movie is slow. remember that this is the first part of a movie, therefore it has to explain things or people will complain about the storyline like they did with gears of war or halo 2. it gets better after the beginning beginning.

The whole image wont even load for me. If we have no way to critique whatever is being posted, its pretty much useless in the AC. Thats why we dont do links to whole sites (unless we're criting the site design). If your just joining to "show it" your in the wrong place.

but when you join up, and every single post (like your post in the photo thread) is designed to increase awareness of your studio and your movie, that's the textbook definition of sitewhoring

for example, Red vs. Blue is the most well known Machinima. Rooster Teeth makes the machinima.

sometimes there is included music and voiceovers in machinim a as well.




P.S. sitewhoring is advertising your site and leaving. I am advertising a movie, and its for the sake of the movie, nothing else. plus im not leaving. but if you want to call it sitewhoring then whatever.

wow, i hope that the people in the real PAX aren't this stubborn andignorant (no offense) because then I'm definately not going since I'm basically going by myself meeting new people on the way. You guys need to learn some stuff before ranting on and on about the site rules. This is NOT sitewhoring. Does the site's domain name show up anywhere on that picture? NO it doesn't. And another thing, why are you arguing? Do you not want people to watch the movie? Is it that important to you guys to spend time on posting for people to not watch a movie?
