GMod Light Problem

So I've been playing Garry's Mod lately and have been having trouble with some light bloom or whatever issues. Whenever I do anything but look directly at the ground, the screen gets really bright and things are kind of blue. This does not happen in Half-Life 2, and does not happen when it is dark (aka in Spacebuild at night). I've changed my graphics settings like a million times and it doesn't do anything. Help?

    Do you have the post-processing options messed-up? Go into the menu (hold q) and look for the "post processing" option in the lower right. There should be an option to reset it to defaults.
