Does anybody with Aol use their homepage service? Like, have a page hosted on the members.aol.com server? If you do, can you get a log of all your visitors? Stuff like what was looked at or who was looking at stuff. Anything like that at all?

I think you can get a counter, but that's not as specific as what I think you want. You'd have to get a separate, non-AOL provided program to get more information. Depending on how the work they may not all play nice with AOL. However, if it does something like put tiny remote images in stuff and counts that way, I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm sure there are people here that know way more about that than I do though.

Sometimes things just don't work the same/at all in AOL, just because it's so proprietary. I'd seriously consider switching providers if that's an option. At the least, calling AOL and telling them you want to switch providers will probably get you some free months, during which you can try out other services.

You'd have to use an external tracking service. Back in 1997-98 or so they allowed you to have a cgi-bin but i'm not sure they kept that after the move to "AOL Hometown"
I won a contest way back when and had my space upgraded from 2 megs to 20. I thought it was awesome as hell.
