Air channels... no more.

So my TV has just decided to completely get rid of channels 4 and 5, which are both air channels. They'll both show up when flipping through channels, but they are scrambed. The thing is, on my other TV in the bedroom, both channels come in okay(and this is not hooked up to an antenna). I tried unhooking the antenna, to no avail, I've never heard of a TV just not receiving channels, so this struck me as weird.
A channel search also didn't work. Any ideas?

is it a small antenna just for that TV?

or do you have a large house antenna for all the tvs?

signal could have lost strength for a # of reasons

do you have a cable provider in the area

You'll want to switch to cable soon. Sometime either this year or early next year all TV broadcasts over the airwaves are going down to free up space for other channels.

    that's not true

it varies by country and moreover what's changing is no more analog. how that's transmitted is not necessarily changing

you can recieve digital over the air signals for example

OK then, let me rephrase: In the US there are going to get rid of analog signals i.e., bunny ears (almost a third of all TV in the US, I read somewhere), pretty soon. If that's what you're using to get your channels, find an alternative soon.
