what illness does she have?

maybe this is a pointless question without knowing more,

but a girl at this party I'm at whom I've sorta known by aquaintence for a long time has always had some sort of illness and I'm curious as to what it might be

She is in her early 20's afaik, but has the appearance/voice/etc of a child. she's short, but not so short that it's pituitary dwarfism or something. (her siblings are all pretty short too.)

this time around she's looking distinctly more pale than in the past, my cousin tells me it's for radioactive treatments... her hair is pale and sullen

it's not tragic or anything she still has lots of energy and can make good conversation and is a nice person.

I'm just not so keen on asking her straight up to satisfy my curious mind so maybe you guys have some ideas

I'm not sure, it might not be possible to know for sure without talking to her. But what you've described might be consistent with a pituitary tumor. Early damage to the pituitary gland can delay or even prevent puberty. But for that to be the case the damage should have happened before puberty and for her to be getting radiation therapy now would imply that the tumor recurred.

It's also possible that the radiation therapy and the childlike appearance may be unrelated, or it may be that she has a genetic condition that leads to the childlike appearance that also causes a susceptibility to secondary diseases that would be treated with radiation.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.

Turner Syndrome fits, except for the radiation therapy, but like Feral said that could be for something else.

Anorexia can directly stunt development as well.
