Hey, couple of quick notes before I get started...
First, this is NOT spam, I'm an actual person writing this. I checked the rules thread and think this is acceptable, but if it's considered a violation of the rules, please lock/delete with my apologies.
Basically, I am a graduate student researcher at the University of North Carolina, and my primary area of study involves the personality of frequent video game players. I am looking for frequent players to fill out a quick online survey. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and we will be giving away a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate to a randomly selected participant. We will not ask for any personal information, save for an email address that will only be contacted if you win the gift certificate. Your email address will not be given or sold to any other entity, and we will never contact you again unless you win the certificate. I'd appreciate anyone who would be willing to take a moment and help with my research...please also note that this is not a "Games are teh ebil!" violent game study, it's just looking at the personality of frequent game players and how they react to the games they play.
