I'm into a few creative outlets: 2D digital art, film making, and music composition/recording
Up until this point I've always been using high end PC software for this stuff - but a friend showed me his macbook pro and a few of the more basic/cheap and cheerful media apps on it. I was amazed at how quickly basic mockups could be thrown together (I was particularly impressed with the overall quality of the templates that came right out of the box)
At the pro end of the scale I see no real reason for using Mac over PC, but I'm unaware of any quick and easy PC software for getting this basic stuff together.
My question to you all is: do any of you duders know of quick and easy art, video and music editing software for the PC that would be suitable for getting some ideas down? Akin to doing a sketch before leaping into a full blown painting.
because I'm now tempted to get a mac, but would rather not spend the money on a whole extra computer.
