Flash problems: MySpace

Right, well, I regard myself as a rather competent computer and internet user. That may be an unfounded assumption, because I've been stumped by a problem that shouldn't be that difficult to work out. Here is the run-down: Myspace's flash players do not correctly load, all I get is a giant white box. Some might see that as a huge blessing, so let's go ahead and skip the cheap shots, shall we? Here is my current diagnosis:

Blank white box, right click brings up menu with options: "Movie not loaded" (grayed) and "About Flash Player 9"

This problem occurs on both the most recent editions of Firefox and IE.

I have verified I am running the most recent version of Flash, including multiple uninstalls and reinstalls.

I have uninstalled my Anti-Virus software (Kaspersky AV) as well as PeerGuardian 2.0, as they might have been blocking these from loading.

Firefox shows no errors in the debug menu in regards to this problem.

ALL other Flash loads perfectly fine on this computer.

All of this leads me to conclude that there is a problem in either how my computer handles information specifically from myspace, or there is a wider problem with this computer that this is only a symptom of. This is a 3 month old install (Windows XP pro) and I had no problems until the reinstall. Searching for a solution on Google has been fruitless, only finding discussions of others with the same problem and no answers. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any ideas? Your help is greatly appreciated.

It could mean that you're being blocked from loading flash from that particular site, as in, intentionally. Are you on your own home network or a work/school one?

home. As far as I know there are no filters / firewalls that I haven't looked at. Other computers on this network load them fine, including (until reformatting) mine.
