you are a charming person and i'm sure everyone would be more than happy to help you out
ok, true, charming that last comment might not have been, but the reason I asked the question was because most posters are fair minded people with a massive amount of collected knowlage and i did say i had searched already but given that google showed 61,100 results and after oh ten to fifteen pages , i still hadn't found anything, I then posted on the forums, where i was insulted for asking a question? i'm sure you'll agree that its a bit...childish?
less ironic more dyslexic...but thanks for pointing it out
Forgetting one letter and incorrectly replacing another is not dyslexia, it's just plain incorrect. Big words and medical conditions don't trump shortcomings.
Also, I'm going to have to side with others here. You wanted info, and it was easily Google-able. Did you expect someone to post all of the pics and type out all of the instructions for you?
In other news: Whoa, the text field for posts has "google" as incorrect spelling, but "Google" isn't. Nice.
Without going into any lengthy detail, dylsexia doesn't actually have alot to do with reading words backwards or spelling transpositions but moreso instead the "decoding" or interpretation of letters and words into meanings (as well as other more serious symptoms). While those symptoms do exist, they are merely an example to show someone with no basis for comparison a basic understanding of the problem.

So you simply can't pair up the letters with the intended word?
thanks to jb7 for the advice and zanetheinsane wow...sounds a lot like what my psychologist told me, and it also affects everyone differently, for example i have no problem reading(i can read a 400 page book in half a day) , but my handwriting sucks and my math skills blow... anything aside from simple calculations, even then i still mess up some simple stuff. also i don't trust high level academics.
You're all a bunch of fucknuts. Angel177 was right to ask here... more right than you can imagine! I tried to respond to this early last night but the power went out. I am deeply disturbed to see all the people in here claiming that their response was justified because it "was" easily google-able when it "was" not and the answer has yet to surface. Despite what you think and base your derogatory assumptions on, jb7 was wrong about the guide he found. I have had the same problem for years right up until I discovered my own solution and a recent search to see if my method had spread uncredited on Google turned up with nothing, so this forum remains the only public place on the Internet with this information. Didn't expect THAT now, did you?!
Anyway, when I discovered a method for taking apart the hinge, it was added to the Accumulated Forum Knowledge section of these forums years ago.
Screw Google. The correct response is "use teh foreum serch retard!" Actually, the forum search doesn't like "GBA" in the query. Werd.
As for dyslexia: My current and childhood friend is very dyslexic and I know that causing frustration with reading at a young age obviously has repercussions on spelling ability if it was not identified early (brain development plasticizes in the way it was wired at a young age). Frustration with reading leads to lack of reading and a child can't learn to spell if a child doesn't read, dyslexic or not. Now a married 24 year old father, he's very intelligent and is a "techie" in almost every sense of the word but he is still embarrassed to try and participate in online discussions or instant messaging because of his basic issues. Now, he reads well and learns other languages as a hobby, and yet he can't spell "no" (I shit you not; he spells it "nall" consistently thanks to the Southern pronunciation). He makes me feel stupid because he can keep up with me in highly technical conversation and yet I can't do a thing when he starts talking about the technical aspects of engines and firearms.

Hahaha, oh my god, the coincidental irony of the situation!

It's a guide to overclocking a GBA SP, but it should suffice as it shows how to get past your "hinge" problem you were talking about.

and you're not doing much to convince me they're wrong
