Anyone believe this might happen?

Say, after the bleaknesses of the E3 Summit the idea of next years seems like it would be a miss more than a hit. I had this pop into my head after reading through the final thoughts over at gamespot.

What if the publishers and developers decided that it wasn't worth it and started asking around about other types of venues. And Pax comes up and they start looking at PAX and how it's gone before. I myself haven't gone to any of them but it looks great and like fun.

Suppose they start finding it as a cheaper alternative, heck even imagine it as a former memory of a young E3. And they start seeing it that way.

Big business starts heading PAX's way and all of a sudden that's it. PAX blows up and becomes the new E3.

And these boards get quadruple the members it has now.

Is that great? Or is that gonna kill what we already have?

It's already kinda happening, but I'm pretty sure Mike and Jerry have stated that it's not going to get that big or out of hand.

This isn't really a G&T topic. It's more of a forum topic, or a PAX topic, I don't really know or care where you'd put it. It's not about games or technology though, so here isn't the place.
