My friend's 360 red ringed and he was lazy to get it fixed, now he went and bought an Elite.
He's already registered that old 360 but he's offering it to me real cheap.
Now my question is, will I be able to get it fixed even though it's in his name? Without problems?

I don't think it's an issue either way, but just have him get it fixed and the buy it off him after it comes back.
Note that this process will take at least a month.
I'd call customer support from his house, with him there just in case you need to get something to verify the information he registered with. When I sent mine back, I had just recently moved, so I know they made me verify my old address before they would change to my new one. Or you could just have the box shipped to his house and go pick it up from there.
Cool, I guess I'll just go ahead and do the address change and do it in his name and I can get anything from him if I need to, except maybe his social sec or cc but they wouldn't want that anyways, right?

anyone?
I mean, really, if he's okay with you doing it, there's nothing illegal about it.
Looks like I'm getting me a 2nd 360
