In the GenCon forums, there is a thread for vendors and exhibitors to note what free stuff they are giving away to convention attendees. As a vendor's employee I find this a great idea, so here is our shameless self-promotion (but other vendors are welcome to post, of course!).
Our TableStar Games booth (#815) is going to have quite a bit of swag. We're showcasing our HeroCard Orc Wars game, and if you can beat our Orc King (our Art Director in full costume, giant club included), you'll walk away with some loot (the promo is called "Win Real Loot" after all).
In ascending order of best-ness:
Little foam Orc War swords
32 oz. plastic Orc War mugs
T-shirts
Copies of the HeroCard Orc Wars game
sweet vinyl-covered LARP-friendly weapon replicas of the Orc Wars characters (scimitar, sword, cleaver, and club)
An X-Box 360!

1. I hope that costume has small fans for ventilation or a system that circulates cool liquid.
2. When you say "beat our Orc King" does that mean that we can physically assault him with our fists and feet, or that we can "beat" him at some form of a game? I don't play tabletop games, but I will strike a person that is wearing a costume if I am encouraged to do so.
3. Do you know what 360 SKU you will be giving away? Please say it is not the fugly Halo 3 version.

Defeating him entails playing the HeroCard Orc Wars tabletop game. You'll play the heroic Elfs against the Orc player. Staff members, including our Orc King, will play the Orc side. One, two, or three players will cooperatively play against the staff.
However, if you manage to win one of the vinyl weapons, I'm sure you can challenge the Orc King to a duel.
Lastly, the XBox is the standard issue, white and green one. (That Halo coloring sure is..wrong. O_o)
I am glad I cleared that up. I could seriously imagine a bunch of smart asses from this forum kicking the crap out of your art director because you used the ambiguous term "beat our Orc King" instead of "beat our Orc King at a game of HeroCard Orc Wars".
Some people here (like Jerry/Tycho) are really into words and grammar.

You used a comma, I'm waiting for the rest of the sentence. I CAN'T TAKE THE SUSPENSE!
You used a comma; I'm waiting for your semicolon to arrive. Huzzah! Punctuation nazis!
I would like to think that NOT viciously assaulting someone is considered default behavior at PAX.
But if it needs to be explicitly stated. Please do not viciously assault our Orc King.
Smack-talking and challenges of manhood (Orc-hood?) are encouraged. 8-)
