It would help to know what you like to play and what you have. But for general recommendations...

    Jump Ultimate Stars
    Tetris DS
    Planet Puzzle League
    Meteos
    Etrian Odyssey
    Metroid Prime: Hunters
    Pokemon D/P
    Mario Kart DS

All have great replay value mostly due to WiFi.

I picked up Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin yesterday.

    Tetris DS
    Planet Puzzle League
    Meteos
    Etrian Odyssey
    Mario Kart

All of those are good games. Keep in mind, with Etrian Odyssey you are dealing with a bit of an oldschool grind, at least difficulty wise. Either way, I still love the game. Lots to do and it will keep you busy for hours and hours. Pretty good replay value too, if you like standard turnbased RPG combat.

I personally don't like Metroid Prime: Hunters. It is really not a bad game, but I became really frustrated with the controls, they seemed awkward to me.

If you like sidescrollers I would suggest Castlevania: PoR, especially if you enjoyed the last titles. However, replay value is not really there, unless you plan on waiting a while to replay it.

Just recently I purchased Puzzle Quest and have been really impressed with it. Very addictive. It is like an already addictive puzzle game with RPG elements and some cool options. Really enjoyable if you like games like bejeweled.

Overall, most of the games with replay value are either going to be a puzzle game or a game with wifi options. Mario Kart is a blast if you don't already own it.

Picross if you like nonograms. If you don't know if you do or not, you probably do.

There's no damn draught, Etrian Odyssey alone is worth a lot of gaming.

If you like dungeon crawlers, don't buy Etrian Odyssey. Not because it is bad, but because it will consume your life.

Do you have Elite Beat Agents?

If not, get Elite Beat Agents.

I am now torn after reading the reviews if I want to pick this game up today. It sounds rather interesting to me but I don't know if I could get past how hard it is supposed to be to keep playing it.

First of all, it is nothing you cannot overcome and second of all, it is a good kind of hard. Don't people enjoy the feeling of achievement anymore?

I don't mine achievement, but I don't need to go through having a small creature punch my balls of the course of 3 years. By that I mean, I read in a review that a basic map takes about 10 hours to draw out. Thats just crazy...promising, but crazy.

Fair enough. Buy it anyway. Seriously, what is the worst that can happen? Aside from getting punched in the balls by a small creature for a large amount of time.

However, if you do get it and start your adventure, keep in mind the the moles are NOT moles. Seriously.

Eh, it's hard at the beginning, but gets easier. After the first seven floors or so, you probably won't be having much trouble. Also, maps are real easy to make. They don't take too long, and you don't even have to explore everywhere if you don't want to. Etrian Odyssey is one of the best games I've played so far this year; if you like RPGs, you can't possibly go wrong.

If you have trouble, just post in the thread! We have a ton of tips to help you out.
