wanking + surgery

Silly question, embarrassing perhaps, but not really because this is the Internet and I don't know any of you. I had surgery on my nose on Monday. I still feel shitty, but assuming I do feel better in a few days... well, if I want to wank, can/should I? Because apparently I'm supposed to stay away from things that will make my blood pressure go up for a few weeks, like doing physical activity like running and lifting and whatever. I was just wondering if getting a boner is a bad thing for me to do or not given that information.

    Well just don't want for a little bit if you're supposed to keep you blood pressure down.

    While I doubt that having a quick wank would do you any serious harm I'd still avoid it for a little while. Better safe than sorry and all that.

    Usaully for me, When I get a surgery, it takes so much outta me (olol pun) that the only things Im concerned about, is eating, sleeping, and making sure my dogs dont die. Other then that, theres not much else you feel up to doing. YMMV however.

    By the way, what nose surgery are you getting? Is it a medical need or personal? I ask this only because Im currently waiting for my brother to get out of the shower, so he can get his nose hacked up as welll due to extremely bad sinuses.

    If you'd had surgery almost anywhere else, I'd say go for it. Truth be told the blood vessels in the nose are some of the thinnest and most fragile. If they've been hacked and reseated, you need to wait till they've settled in and healed over a bit. Hell, you can get nosebleeds from like, just sitting there.

    Besides, if you did try and got a mass nosebleed and had to go to hospital...it might be a tad embarassing explaining how it happened.

    I had a septoplasty (and perhaps kind of a rhinoplasty), because some kid broke my nose about 10 years ago and for some medical reason I don't understand, when they went to set it then they couldn't fix it and told me to get it fixed when I was done growing. Basically I had an insanely deviated septum and had trouble breathing, and my nose was a bit crooked. So yeah.

    Another of my friends also had a septoplasty recently because of his sinuses, but it was nowhere as deviated as mine.

    And yeah, I'm gonna hold off on the whackity whack whack for a few weeks.

    If it's any help, when my girlfriend had an operation to fix her deviated septum, we pretty much jumped right into makin' babies, as it were, with no ill side effects.

    While I don't think a little hand to gland combat makes your blood pressure go up that much, I would concure that abstaining is likely the safest option. The other option is to not wait, and then you can then start coversations with "I jerked off so hard one time, I got a nose bleed."
