I heard a report on the local NPR affiliate that the I-5 construction is about 5 days ahead of schedule and may be done as early as Saturday the 25th.
Apparently, the contractor working on the highway has actually been promised an incentive of $100,000 for every day ahead of schedule that the work is finished, up to 9 days.
I called it.

I just wanted to say thanks to Neville for straight up offering his place as a PAX sanctuary. Not only is this saving me hundreds of dollars in hotel fees, but it ensures I will be able to hang out with all of the awesome SE people.

Also, while I have PAX weekend off, Callius was hired on in part at my office specifically to be working that weekend and several after it alongside myself(for the weekends after PAX) so we need to make damn well sure that we include him in PAX activities after he makes it out of the office.
