Like the title says. I use to use the original bittorrent client but I am a wary of it now that they have gone corporate. I Think I used one that went by the name of Arctic but cannot remember at this point.

I use uTorrent, a very popular torrent. It is also free.

Another one you may hear about is Azureus (not sure if I spelled it correctly), but from what I've heard it is very bloated and slow.

Of course, the next guy might tell you something else.

There's another one that's both P2P and BitTorrent client rolled into one, with a torrent search engine built in.

LFTT. μTorrent is the best client I've used, and I'm always a fan of a nice, self-contained exe that requires no installation at all. Plus, it supports all the usual stuff, encryption and full control of which files in a torrent download, etc.

I don't believe it - I'm on my THIRD PS3, and my FIRST XBOX360. What the heck?

I've been using BitComet for a while. Azureus used to run absolutely sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

Never tried uTorrent before but BitComet hasn't steered me wrong so why change?

I'm going with uTorrent. I used to use Azureus until I found it and it runs so much better.

    uTorrent.

It's fast, low profile, and has every feature that you will probably need.

I also vote for BitComet. I have had no problems whatsoever when using it.

uTorrent. Another thumbs down for Azureus too, what a pile of garbage.

    Azureus blows.

    uTorrent, uTorrent, uTorrent, uTorrent.

It's really basically all you'd ever want or need from a torrent program. It even has a pretty simple guide on port forwarding.

I tried uTorrent, but I really didn't like it. However, that's on a Mac, and my Azureus may be a little less bloated in that regard.
