Nice style.
Have any original characters for us? I'd love to see your designs.
I just visited your site while in the middle of typing this. The colored stuff is very nice too. That site quickly made it's way into my bookmark folder.
I don't know how much useful critique you're going to get...there's not a lot of room for improvement in the stuff you posted...you seem to have that particular style pretty much mastered.
His site has a whole page of animations (combination of 3D stuff, animated gifs...and something called "anamatics" which I'm not quite sure how to describe).
I can't remember his full name, but I believe the character designer for that show is named Silver. I know Gabe's art is influenced big time by him, but I never made any concious effort to ape him...or really anyone. I don't go by artist, I go by the art y'know? If I like the picture, "...maybe I'll try that..." kind thing. Mostly though I think I just see something I've done and go, "That one part is nice, I gotta keep doing that..."
I mean it's obvious for some that it's ripping off from a specific place (such at the Avatar thing) but that's basically just me being a smartass. That's how I started drawing in the first place, making fanart that was amalgamations of two different sources/styles just cause I'd thought it'd be clever to mash 'em up. Did a whole slew of Final Fantasy characters as Simpsons and South Park characters. That kinda thing. Might be where the 'forced' thing comes from. But things like Sango (chick wit da boom'rang) weren't drawn from anything other than my head. So...I dunno...
really nice stuff moonman.
I don't suffer from Insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
