Any nearby Karaoke with a rock / metal selection?

There is a great karaoke bar in Portland on Burnside that has selections to choose from such as Godsmack, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, etc.... The KJ controls the volume of the music for the singer, adds vocal effects where appropriate, and just generally does a good job. The sound system is also very clean.

Are there any karaoke places like this that anyone knows of nearby the convention center?

    THat sounds rad, but sadly, no there are not any karaoke bars around the area like that (at least to my knowledge).

    There have, in the past, been rock-a-roke events at Chop Suey on Capitol Hill where you sing with a live band, but nothing recently that I've heard of.

    What a shame.

    The one is Portland is called "The Galaxy". Great place!
