Hey all. Anyone know of a good place to look for gaming concept art for purcase. I've got my new computer room all setup, with naked walls, and I'd like to begin picking up some nice concept art for decor.
I've looked about, but havn't found much of anything.
Prints or litographs would all be dandy... I just want something that's artful/tasteful that reflects my love of gaming. I've been thinking about looking for prints from the 8-bit exhibits too.
Anyhoo, if anyone know of places that sell this kinda stuff, lemme know.
This really belongs in the question/discussion thread, but whatever.
You're probably going to have a hard time finding purchase-able prints or even images of print-quality resolution on the internet of production artwork. The concept artists are sometimes allowed to host low quality images on their respective galleries but given they don't actually own that work they probably aren't allowed to sell non-original prints. I don't know of any companies that sell prints of their production work myself.
Your best bet might be to perhaps find some "making-of" art books and scanning in some pages to produce your own slightly enlarged prints.
actually, I love birds are weird... I'd buy that in a heartbeat if they did it up like ff-prime in an 8x10 laser cell... but 17x23's a little large for something like that imo. Just curious if anyone ever seen any good placed to buy stuff online.
The iam8bit stuff can be a little too out there... and most of the great stuff I saw at the show isn't in their store.
A good point Scosglen, and that may end up being what I have to do.
I posted here 'cause, I figured I'd get the best response from the artists.
