So i've watched trailer for the up coming Hitman movie based on the game series http://www.hitmanmovie.com if you haven't seen the trailer.
I was just wondering what you guys are thinking whether it's gonna be another Doom or Bloodrayne, I actually thought it didn't look that bad. Although Timothy Olyphant looks totally not like 47.
It seems like hitman is going to be too much of an action film. 47 is supposed to be subtle about his kills, not gunning down everyone in sight. Also, love interest? 47 has a hard time even having emotion. It looks like they are trying to turn it into a james bond film.
Am I the only one who thought that the Hitman games had a terrible plot in general? I loved the gameplay, and the plot of the individual missions, but the overarching plot sucked. Especially the first one.

Ugh, no kidding. The guy doesn't look nearly confident enough to pull off 47.

Where's the love interest? In the trailer from the OP at least, there was like, a girl.
Although I don't get any audio, so /shrug.

This movie looks like shit. It was a bad idea in the first place, anyways. Of all the games to make a movie out of, Christ.
Never played the games, but how prevalent is the whole "mission from God" thing in the series? That's what struck me about the trailer. It seemed so out of place.
Something's missing if 47 isn't a 7 foot tall behemoth. Olyphant doesn't have the emotionless face, either. He sort of has this shiteating grin that could form at any moment.
I'll watch it if he wears a bellhop uniform that's too small for him.
I'm not surprised that they cast someone so young in 47's role. I mean, Jason Bourne was supposed to be in his 40's, but I think Matt Damon kicks ass in that role. I'm willing to give Olyphant a shot.
wow its been so long since ive played hitman
the only thing i remember from it was getting sick of the endless levels of sniping asian people i swear the triad storylines were so boring
Oh dear. Yes, Jason Statham, though in less psychotic mode than per usual. Also, though I can see it coming in a far second or third, totally not the game property that you would put smart money on making the best film.

I'm not expecting much out of the movie so if it turns out to be at least half decent then I will be pleasantly surprised.
Here's a clip of Bateson, btw: http://youtube.com/watch?v=CoTzKbQ1jVU
Do... Re... Mi... So... Fa.... Do... Re.... Do...
Forget it...

Flick might be good, though. I can't tell yet.
I also have a blog!

EDIT: I mean, "Protected by divinity." Whatever.
What?
Hitman is a pretty awesome source material for an assassin-type movie (think Leon).
edit: in other news this looks like a bad Hitman movie and a good action movie
vv
Jason Statham.
Should have been 47.
He's great in action movies, looks tough as nails, and looks the part.
It should have been him.
Bateman has done some other stuff in the past too
Fishtastic!
Hitman has no love interests. Timothy Olyphant does not look good bald.
I'll watch it if he wears a bellhop uniform that's too small for him.
I watched the trailer twice for the music.
Man, Blood Money had just about the best last level ever.
As for this movie, I donno. It doesn't look like an action movie to me, but the trailer wasn't as exciting as it could've been.
47 is a bulky dude, but he's not a behemoth at all. That's kind of the point, he blends in.
*shiver
this movie seems like an "ORIGINS OF" movie and also 100x better than the real Hitman movie
I'm not even giving this movie a chance, like I do most video game movies before they are released.
Also, why is the T in the trailer made our of a pair of Glocks? 47 uses Hardballers, big bad ass M1911 clones.
the only thing i remember from it was getting sick of the endless levels of sniping asian people i swear the triad storylines were so boring
Number 1:
The trailer looks great, until they show scenes from the actual movie.
When the guy stands in the hallway with his two guns pointing in opposite directions, it just looks cheesey as fuck.
lol, that would be funny actually.
Oh and Guy Ritchie directs it.
