    I like it.

Although her freckles look a tiny bit like acne.

    Arborphilia?

Very cute. [edited due to repetition]

Where the beach meets the grass could use better transition. I'm just noticing the footprints in the sand though, very cool.

    love it, very nice job.
looking again the only thing i find to be a bit distracting, is that that her bathing suit is green and between the grass and leaves thats a lotta green.

Awesome colors. Did you use PS or Painter?

Very lovely use of color. And I like the footsteps leading up to the tree.

Beautiful. The only thing that looks a little odd to me is the way the shadow under her left foot seems to just fade off. Great colors.

It feels like theres a whole lot of blank space in the composition. Other than that, fantastic job, great colors.

Thanks so much everyone for the advice :)
rolo: you're right, they're too saturated. Brown looked too dark and if I made it lighter they didn't stand a chance once this was sized down. Probably should have just left them out entirely...but I'm a huge sucker for freckles...
srsizzy, I use PS 7 for everything, and thank you!

I really like this. Excellent job. Very "sweet." I could see this hanging in my daughter's room.

I made my own brushes...I mostly use an angled rectangle with a little bit of texture around the edges from "dual brush", shape dynamics and "other dynamics" set to pen pressure. You can make a lot of neat brushes from the PS standard ones..

you should try Painter, it's really built around that sort of thing.

Also this pic is really nice, I like it a lot.
