Now, I know I have a shmup thread. And I know this could probably go there, and I also know that maybe five or so people are as excited as me.

    I like shmups. This Thunder Force 6 and Technosoft are unknown to me. Please, explain to me why I should be excited, so that I may be. :)

    I hate shmups, and would never play any of their games if they got back up, but the Thunderforce series has some of the most rocking fucking music ever, so here's hoping.

    Thunder Force was a very competent and fun shmup. Three of them developed for the Genesis, and if you ever wanna see what that system can do graphically, Thunder Force IV/Lightning Force is the game to check out.

    They also developed Herzog Zwei, historically known as the very first RTS.

    As mentioned above, they're also known for their amazing soundtracks. Even after Tecnosoft had dissolved and Thunder Force VI was canceled, the soundtrack was released and sold pretty well.
