DDR Hottest Party (Wii, 360, PS3)

So Konami is producing a new DDR for each of the three consoles. I'm not sure if they're all called Hottest Party, but I know the Wii one is. That's the one I'm kinda focusing on at the moment, but many of the topics I'm interested in will be shared for all three consoles.

Konami is introducing extra movement modes where you hold wiimotes in your hand and along with stepping correctly, you must also waggle correctly. I REALLY hope that this is optional, because I can see it getting old fast. That, and you probably won't see any other stupid modes in the other consoles, unless they find some way to tap into the PS3 controller movement.
Personally, I just hope that the Wii doesn't get some dumbed down version of DDR (I enjoyed Mario Mix, but its lasting power was minimal). I don't know why Konami introduces a different version for each console and not just port the same songs over to each, but I hope they at least give all of them a decent mix.

The other thing I wanted to touch on is wireless controllers. Now, each console supports wired controllers, whether through USB or GC ports, however the move is toward wireless everything (even sensor bars). Konami has so far been demoing the new Wii DDR using the Mario Mix pads through the GC port. I was REALLY hoping for a nice wireless pad for all three consoles, but I could see where that would get expensive for Konami pack-ins and for consumers now that the new versions support up to 4 pads instead of the standard 2. However, with 4 people in my living room, removing the wires would have been a great plus, and I hope the wires on the pads are long enough to support this. The wires on most pads were decently long, but were somewhat restrictive.

High quality pads are another thing I wanted to see if anyone has heard about. Does cobalt flux or red octane plan on offering a pad that will support all three consoles, or even a wireless pad for all three consoles? I know cobalt flux were pretty much PS2 only for a while, and then added PC support I think. But I would love to get a cobalt flux or other metal pad that supported a wireless connection to all three new consoles.

I know that cobalt flux has a control box which can be removed and replaced to allow for upgrading. I believe its standard connection is PS2, Gcube, Xbox, USB, which would make it compatible with all three next-gen consoles.

If this Wii DDR is good, then buying Mario Mix will finally pay off. Yay.
