All,
Several months ago I traded in my PS2 for an Xbox 360 when EB Games was running a 30% trade in and I had a 20% coupon. At the time, I didn't have the xbox hooked up to the internet so I was running on a local ID.
Now I have the XBox moved to my computer room and hooked up to my new HDTV and my network. I previously have had a MSN login as I use hotmail, so I used that to set up an xbox live account. However, when I log into xbox live, it's changing the login on my system to the xbox live one.
What I would like to do is merge my offline profile with my online profile, so all of my achievements and unlocks in games like Crackdown and Saint's Row will be available for online play. I really don't want to have to replay those and other games and redo all the tasks involved.
Can anyone offer a suggestion? I've tried using google and the xboxlive website but haven't had any luck.
Thanks,
Heffling.

Pick one or the other, all you can do really.
To make an offline profile an online one, you don't make a new profile and sign up to Live. You log in on your offline account, hit any option on the orange blade, and select Join Xbox Live. Then when you create all the online stuff, it'll be tied to the profile and all the saves you've already created.
