heh, I'm just curious how many of you are going.

I know a lot of my old guild members are headed up from cali/canada and those kinda distances.


I quit playing a while ago and sold my gaming rig to pick up a laptop (so I wouldn't wanna play wow anyways)
but i'm still friends with the people i've been running around with (virtually) for the last 3 years, how bout yous?

no i was a member of http://nightelfcollective.com/ on kil'jaeden (btw the guy who made our front page video is gonna be there, we're gonna play sum guitar hero in the hotels I think (have to bring our own tv I think cuz hotel tv's are locked down by the anti gamer nazi coalition)

I just recently gave up my level 70 draenei paladin, I can't really get into the game anymore, it was making me an angry person. Pretty much to the point that my guild had to deliver a solid boot to my ass to get me to go "huh, i'm not really happy playing wow anyway" so I'm going back into my electronic music production stuff.

I quit only because I ran out of prepaid cards and have been to scared to buy moar.... I think I probablly would if I could get my gnome lock into a PAA guild but I sorta have a life now... well a half-life... (Not a reference to the game I am just in withdrawl)

I have a feeling that there will be a lot of people at PAX that have played, or still continue to play, WoW.

It's easy to get into any PAA guild. You just say "I love Penny Arcade and need a guild" in /paa on Dark Iron. It will take a matter of 10 minutes.

I quit like 6 months ago but I am might start up again after hearing about the Death Knight Hero class. Also, Arthas is my favorite character and Wrath of the Lich King is looking pretty fun from the little info we have. I got a 70 Blood Elf Paladin, 64 Undead Warlock and like a 61 Undead Rogue. Might level my Warlock to make the grind from 70-80 easy. Paladins aren't that fun lvling. lol

Go from a cheap Warlock to a cheap Death Knight. I am on Deathwing server.

Also have Tygre and Soylent who are presently on the Ursin server.

BTW: If you find horde, let me get a round in. Although I remember when lineing up for TBC there was a guy from Korkron there so he might be there as well.

Haven't played since the last expansion and even longer since I logged into Dark Iron, but I had a NE Rogue named Punchy. If you're on Eitrigg, you may have seen me as either Rochelle, Rackham, or IvoShandor.

To be honest and this isn't meant to be an insult. But if anyone is actually worrying they'll be missing wow time, it may be time for you to take a month or two off.

If you're worried about loot, don't. There'll be less competition when you get back.

heh, most people want better loot to min/max thier performance on things like damage and healing charts, not because its a significant upgrade against thier competition. Remember KZ loot before they buffed it? it was barely better than (if at all) some blue quest items, and honestly some people still havent replaced the crit trinkets from the HFP instance quests even at 70 and you get those at like 61/62

I think the original intent of the post was to gather insight as to how many WoW-players would be attending PAX. I haven't read much on losing out on raid time.

Yeah I just joined up with DTT a few weeks ago to run with their PvPers. Fror is still on some kinda crazy sabbatical or something so I've only seen him in guild chat like once in the past 4 weeks hehe.
