So, I didn't preregister because it just recently occurred to me that I could even go to PAX... so, how do I maximize the funnage? Is there any hope of me getting swag? What time should I get in line? I have to leave on sunday, so should I bother doing something liked TDL or Patient Zero or will I be too busy anyway?
Also, I can't really bring my own comp, but I'd really really love to participate in the soldat tournament -- is there anyway I could use the computer of someone who did who doesn't much care about soldat?
Start by reading the post stickied up near the top (happens to be the VERY top atm) of this forum professing to be the complete guide to PAX. It really does an amazing job at addressing all of the questions you asked and more.
Okay, I guess I still have one question -- do I need to wait in line? Is there a separate line for non preregistered people? Will waiting in the non-prereg line be awesome? Are there any benefits? Wait, that's like 5. Sorry.
Even if you were leaving early Sunday morning, that should still put you towards the end of the Patient Zero story. If you're on a team, which is suggested for anyone, you may be farther along than that. Our online registration system is up until tomorrow night and we'll be signing people up Thursday night in the Sheraton.

Granted, the non-prereg line is not as awesome as the prereg line, but the lines do let you meet and greet (which you really should do, it's worth putting yourself out a bit).
Err, one final line-related question. What time should I get in line? Am I guaranteed a ticked if I show up whenever? Or is me getting a ticket dubious no matter what?
