Am I the only one out there feeling a little emotional? It's like a great friend has been ripped from my side. A friend that brings comfort and videogames...

Anyone else out there getting that feeling of reality slipping back to them?

I, too, am disappointed that it has come to an end. I now have to look forward to the 55 hour drive back home that I will embark on tomorrow.

Even though I spent much more time in BYOC than on my DS, I'm wishing I could open up Pictochat and draw with people right now.

Well, I guess there's always www.isketch.net, but it's just not the same...

I'm feeling a little emotionally drained but this was one of the best things I have ever experienced this year. Its almost like a birthday where you put it in the back of your head until just a couple month before it and when it is all done you feel just drained and wornout and a little sad.

This was a great time this year. It was kinda what I always wanted PAX to be. Organization and everything was great.

We SERIOUSLY have to hold like, a mini-pax in like February or March or something. I miss it already. People are doing it over on east-Coast and such, and I don't wanna wait again for another year.

These three days have been the most fun I've had all summer. Not only did I win free merchandise, bought merch, and meet hot gamer chicks,(even though they are all taken, like I care) I still hit on some and had some fun outcomes XD, but I also got to see and meet the creators of games and new consoles that I've been wanting for awhile. Anyways I've been working 40+ hour weeks and getting these couple days off along with hanging with my crowd has rejuvenated me. It was my X-Potion for the year! Thank you all for the great time. I can't wait to see you all again. Back to the Kitchen tomorrow (aka work). Hope you all loved my beloved home Seattle!!!

PS. Knowing that today was the last day of PAX saddened me, like my high school graduation party. Just I'm happy to know it happens for 3 days every year! Let it continue till E3 dies (Fuck you E3 for not accepting me at age 17) and newer generations have even better ideas! GLHF for the next 362 days see you on the 363rd 364th and 365th from now.

I just got dumped by my gf of almost five years and at this point I'm not sure what's worse... That or not having PAX for another year.

I think the two depression-causers are just canceling each other out; leaving me feel indifferent.

As always, I am looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

I'll second that. Except I'm excited to go back to work so I can:
    1. Brag to co-workers until PAX '08.
    2. Replenish my bank and pay back the massive Credit Card debt which I accumulated this weekend.

Yeah, actually my job is kinda fun, so I'm not really complaining about going back to work, just complaining that every day isn't PAX. Then I guess I would learn to take it for granted though.

Im going to miss the PC freeplay. That was probably one of the most fun gaming experiences I have ever had. Also just the environment of being around friendly gamers from 10 am- 3 am. See you all next year!

Every year, I leave PAX feeling depressed. I really wish PAX happened more often. But at the very least, we still have the forums. And as the year comes to an end, i will eagerly await the first announcement of the PAX 2007 dvd, and then the first announcement of the PAX 2008 pre-reg. Then the year will just fly by. So, i will see you all soon. Next year isn't that far away.

i started to cry a little when the video after the omegathon finished.

I got teary eyed as well. Because PAX ended, and because I was really sad my best friend, with whom I went to my first PAX in 06, wasn't able to come this year. And not the "Tell me about it when you get home" kind of not being able to, but the "I'm in military training for the next 2 years with no time off for at least 10 more months".

Me and my other friends took photos of us all weekend to send to him, and then I lost the damn camera, and it wasn't in Lost and Found. Please let me know if you know anything about an Olympus X-1 Camedia left at Main Theater Sunday morning.

Hell, if you stole the camera and you're reading this, keep the fucking thing, sell it, whatever the fuck you want. Just make a fake info Hotmail account and send me some of the pics

The worst part is that after it ends, you're thinking, "Shit, I have to go back to work tomorrow."
It's like a magical land of delicious game demos that suddenly gets ripped apart by a wicked witch/manager/boss or something.
    Yeah, I'm a little depressed.
But hella excited for next year already!!

On behalf of all the single men at PAX that didn't get booty, fuck you.

    But seriously, Congrats.

I am just sad that the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness demo crashed the moment I tried to create a character.

But the fall was cushioned by the Sneak Peak to GW:EN and Stubbs the Zombie, and seeing my newest baby cousin that looks likes she could be my daughter (that last little bit makes me die a little inside but its cool).

I find it kind of funny the president of the United States of America swings into town the day AFTER PAX and a week before Wu-Tang clan plays memorial stadium. Seriously, PAX + Bumpershoot = no $

I seriously think that there needs to be a medical condition called "Post-PAX Letdown" or "Post-PAX Depression" that covers the feeling of lost and the desire to mope and coddle your video games for another year, while waiting for another chance to pwn everyone at Mario Kart.

I think the most depressing thing ever was going to Gameworks after we got kicked out of the convention center on Sunday, and realizing that the games there cost money to play. Sad times.

Flying back home was like flying back into a world filled with sadness, drama, and labor. Basically, the antithesis of PAX. I'm gonna miss it and talk about it so much to all my lameass friends who chose not to go. Can't wait til '08.
