2nd Annual VFS Game Design Expo - January 19th & 20th, 2008
Last Call for Speakers
The Game Design Expo will feature Keynote speakers, game design presentations by industry speakers, and panel sessions. The main focus will be on in-depth discussions of consoles, fun & gameplay, and story & character in the role of game design. Presentations will touch upon trends and issues important to industry professionals in the current marketplace. Additionally, the Expo will explore the complete audio/visual experience with presentations that provide insight into how large and small teams work together to develop the many elements required for a successful game.
To get the creative juices flowing, some of the potential topics include:
- The “Fun†Factor: Designing for Play
- The Audio/Visual Experience
- The Evolution of Story and Character
- Battle of the Consoles: One Year Later
- Game Title Post-Mortems (proposal includes presentations by more than one team member, e.g. a designer, writer, and sound designer)

The deadlines will come quickly, so don’t miss out!
