Whatever happened to the general consensus that having a tie was bad for the village?

Note: No randomization in this Phalla; per OP.

I don't recall the last time a seer and a bad guy both came out in a game where we don't know anything at all about roles or numbers of bad guys etc.

Breaking down vote records have always helped the village, instead of looking at records of a single bandwagon, let's look at the records of a tie or attempted tie, it gives us more to work with IMO.

Wait. So should the bad guy and the seer be our targets?

Not in my opinion; my vote has been cast.

Vigilante should take down the claimed bad guy (visiblehowl) and we leave the seer till tomorrow.

I think it would be easier to pick two targets and go with it, whether or not we use a current vote leader is up to you guys.

Let Xevo have a few days to help prove to us he's a good guy seer before we consider killing him.

Do we know yet what seering results any seers will recieve?

Good or Evil? the role's name?

I'm looking for stuff that would help confirm a seer.

Seers should just tell whomever their target is what that target's role is via PM and be done with it.

That's fine by me. I have as much chance of being a bad guy as anyone else, so if you want me to test my own theory I will do so.

For now, I'll leave a vote on myself since I'll be gone for a few hours.

Hopefully when I'm back, we have two targets picked out so we can work with our voting records tomorrow in combination with the narration, which may help give us a lot of information we need.

I vote for Ardor because he's a jerk.

I'm heading off for supper my Children. I think Ardor's plan has some merit, and as such I will not change my vote for now. If, upon my return, we have two clear targets, I will adjust accordingly.

According to my PM, I will know their role, which in this game can be verrry specific.

This guy's just trying to be trendy like me. Don't trust him, he doesn't wear it right. But, it's a good start, now ardor and pk have 2 votes. And I didn't even have to change mine!

Maybe this tie thing can work. I was just waiting until someone started it up.

Frankly I think it's more improtant we don't give the role of the investigator to someone that won't use it to benefit us, but my suggestion apparently has fallen on deaf ears. Oh well...

I'll !retract Zerinan and !vote for Visiblehowl for 3 reasons.

    1) Zerinan seems to be AWOL at the moment, so my grudge vote doesn't seem to be doing much
    2) Visible said he was a bad guy, I'm cool with killing people that say such things
    3) Just to generally piss off Locus by doing stacks of retracts and revotes :P.

I think it'd be a bad idea to take out two of our most active players. It would be better by far to pick two people who don't really contribute.

Edit: I DO ,however, agree with Telcus. Not about pig fucking, but about Voting Visiblehowl . Retract DethKok

Hang on just a minute. I thought we were bandwagoning Dethkok because he mentioned something about selling rat meat and the narration said we should root out the "hunters". Isn't that a correlation? Also, !retract Hakkekage and !vote Squashua.

All an investigator does is ask a question; depends on how good the question is.

So, are there any question suggestions?

Feel free to come forward if you think I'm sniffing glue and this plan sucks. I just think having 2 targets instead of 1 makes vote records more useful in the longer run, that's it.

    Man, what?

This doesn't make sense Ardor. If we choose two targets and tie them both up, then thats that and the bad guys aren't going to risk voting outside of those two targets (especially on day 1). Hell even looking at who voted for target X as opposed to target Y... if they were going to be tied anyway does it really matter who voted for who?

If I was a bad guy I would just vote for my own guy, since it was decided that they need to be tied and anyone breaking the tie or voting outside of our guidelines would be suspect.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what Ardor acts like when he is evil.

It would be in the bad guy's best interest for us to vote out two innocents on day one. And since everything is basically random on day 1, it probably wouldn't be that hard to manipulate the mob away from the people you didn't want to have voted off.
