Not getting a monster kill is pretty suspicious though. I would advise good specials not to contact DA yet. This seems too convenient that he would hit an Evil and that the monsters didn't get a kill.
Jesus Zot, you're making yourself look more and more evil by the minute... not even sure if I want to mention the implications you've made in PMs... nothing about being special, but I suspect you have hidden intentions of your own.
I asked you to seer me if you wished to, but not announce it publicly. Then I wanted you to tell me my role.
Wow, that makes me so evil. I offered it as an alternative to your seering of visiblehowl.
Just to tell you, I'm a Jester and I have no powers. And I was trying to help you out, trying to help you make moves that wouldn't make you look like a complete dumbass. You're welcome, jerk.
No it was more like the implied alliance with you and grundlterror... also interesting how both your votes and retractions line up pretty nicely, even back-to-back at times.
Unfortunately, the answers I sought were not as precise and exacting and as broad as I had hoped they would be.
It seems that the total number of still-living, truly loyal soldiers here stands at a count of 32.
Which means that there are still SIX of us with traitorous thoughts.
That is all I could uncover.
!vote Squashua to continue his pursuits.
That's ambiguous though. Truly loyal specifically to the Gray Wolf? Because we must also fear those truly loyal to the World's Edge, must we not?
He seems to have answered the secondary question:
32 players have the same win condition.
6 do not.
I'm pretty sure the 32 who share the same win condition are all Gray Wolf; otherwise the narrations would make no sense.
I am cautiously optimistic about Devoutly Apathetic and here's why:
1 - Jester was poisoned, but it doesn't state that a vigilante did it. A bad guy could just have easily performed the deed; assuming poisoning is their gig.
2 - DA is a pretty good player and may have made a good guess at Jester, or the bad guy group decided to sacrifice Jester to make DA look like a good guy.
My alternative takes are always the less likely takes, but they are possible, which is why I'm being cautious, and I ask that the rest of you be cautious.
So what's the general consensus here: is DA legit or a talented poseur?
Clarifications ahoy! Please pay attention to these!
Clarification #1: If your role does not explicity state which House you serve, you serve the House of the Gray Wolf.
Clarification #2:
Posting this from your role PM is okay:
You are…
A rat catcher! It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s got to do it. It’s a fact of life. If you have a city, you have rats in that city. Most people don’t like rats, so somebody has got to take it upon him- or herself to get rid of the rats. That somebody happens to be you. You weren’t very good at your job. Most of the time you didn’t even bother catching the rats. You just carried a bag of dead rats around with you and claimed that these were the rats the client was looking for. They always seemed to fall for it. Still, you felt bad every now and then for taking money from honest folk. Going to war seemed like a decent alternative. Catching a soldier isn’t really that different from catching a rat. The same tactics work. You just carry a severed head around with you, and when anyone asks if you’ve seen battle recently, you just whip that bad boy out and show them what’s what.
Honestly, it's pretty suspicious that our enemies didn't get a kill.
Either a) They don't get kills until certain days.
b) They somehow messed up and didn't send in their kills.
or c) They in fact, DID get a kill, in the form of DA.
I don't want to go ahead and say that this is a nefarious plot by our enemies to reveal our aces, because DA could very well be on our side. I'm just saying, something ain't right here, and some of those options don't look very convincing.
EDIT: Like Ardor said, a good seering would be in order, but then again, we have to rely on the claims of our fellow men and women as to their roles.
If DA is evil, then they took a big risk by having them take out one of their own - because they had to count on Dethkok being axed. Purposely taking out a second one of theirs in that situation seems pretty foolish, so I'm wagering on DA being good.
Maybe Squash (or whoever wins the vote tonight) should find out if the bad guy kill count goes down the fewer bad guys they have.
Hell, now that I think about it, DA shouldn't be seered tonight, in case he is the one killed.
It will waste our seering. =/
Edit: Actually Fembot, Ardor was supposed to die last night. They may ahve felt they were in the clear killing one of their own.
My concern is that DA will convince the Guardian to guard him tonite, leaving me unprotected if he is indeed a badguy and offing our network's one seer.

Well, people were trying to tie the vote. If they were counting on Dethkok not being killed at all, then they're really rather foolish.
Alright you guys, I have a confession to make. I'm not really a Jester. I'm a rat catcher. Here's the PM to prove it:
You are…

Alright, I'm still working through things but I'm at work so it can't have all my time.
I'm going to point out that the guy I killed had a knife, an instrument of death. That may have something to do with their being no bad guy kill tonight. The kill may have been guarded, but I seem to recall something about that being mentioned if it happened.
Also, Furic personally praise me guys, you don't doubt Furic, do you?
At this point I can't expect to live through the night so I'm going to ask the specials to again, contact me so I work somethings out.
I'm a cool dude this game though. Now, how do we know Ardor is a good guy? For all we know, we could have had another badguy pegged on day one as well. I mean, he really hasn't been acting himself this game.
Lead-wise, he's my forvite for the moment. I don't want to unjustly start a bandwagon (Hah, I started the Dethkok bandwagon! xD) so I am gonna keep my vote for the moment.
Addition to the narration because I fucked up the vote counts. (Don't worry, the result is the same. But there is additional information.)
"DETHKOK!" some soldiers cried. "Ardor!" others yelled. "Both of them!" someone else shouted. At this both soldiers were shoved forward to stand before Sir Furic.
"No," Furic said calmly. The throng fell silent. "We will not be killing two people today. Someone I trust has approached me, and he believes that Ardor is innocent. I trust his judgement, therefore I too believe Ardor is innocent. DETHKOK will be the only one to fall under my blade tonight."

So Xevo, your noobship. Tell us what the spoils of your evening's work are.

Will of the Council - Starting with you, each player votes for death goblin.
We can know then if its a ruse or it its legit.
I'm thinking there are some role powers that give some people extra votes. Like "your vote counts for three" or sommat.
As for the baddie kills...I find it really hard to believe they didn't target anyone, so I'm with Anaximander on this.

Don't do that.
He could get away with pretending to be a seer further if he pretends that he just happened to seer DA, and I don't want that happening.

I think a seer should check him out and send a mouthpiece out to condemn him should he be evil.
I think we should consider him an unknown like the rest of us and move on personally.

If he is who he says he is, we don't want him dead.
He needs to be seered tonight, though I assume one of our 2 outted specials are going to die tonight.
2 cannot be guarded (Generally, there is only the one guardian.) so either our supposed seer or our supposed vigilante will be killed.
Dilemma.
Maybe Squash (or whoever wins the vote tonight) should find out if the bad guy kill count goes down the fewer bad guys they have.
That was me asking for that. *whew*
32 probably means Gray Wolf, then.
It will waste our seering. =/
Edit: Actually Fembot, Ardor was supposed to die last night. They may ahve felt they were in the clear killing one of their own.
Also, FYI that was DETHKOK's role up there.
Yes, I can see why that would concern you.
Well, people were trying to tie the vote. If they were counting on Dethkok not being killed at all, then they're really rather foolish.
You liar! You stole that from the PM I sent you. You're the sewage worker!

More latter most like.
(I was beginning to think that such an occurrence was myth and poppycock.)
GO US!
Unless I'm on the badguy team.
Mwahahaha.
I'm a cool dude this game though. Now, how do we know Ardor is a good guy? For all we know, we could have had another badguy pegged on day one as well. I mean, he really hasn't been acting himself this game.

Does anyone have any other leads?
NARRATION UPDATE
Addition to the narration because I fucked up the vote counts. (Don't worry, the result is the same. But there is additional information.)

Does this mean that if we are to tie the vote with a good and badguy...the badguy shall be killed?
Either way, it's not really going to confirm me, people will have to deal with me as they see fit.
Yeah we have an alliance... until we do something like send in kill orders for each other :P
The example in the OP revolves around the vote, I'm wondering if this is a general principal or just specific to the vote.
