FU EA Sports, Woods 08 and Skate

I have really had it with EA as of late. Started with the Skate demo for the 360 where their Skate.Reel site is having all sorts of problem and is basically unusable for a fuckton of people. Ok its a demo so it wasnt a big deal but it would have been nice to see it functioning properly. Now, I just bought Tiger Woods 08 for the 360 and decided to try out their Game Face feature on their website since I dont have the Live Vision camera and guess what, it doesnt fucking work right for half of the people either. So at this point since I actually paid for the game I am a little pissed off BUT I shrug it off and gave them the benfit of the doubt since it does say he site is in beta and they would fix it shortly. Now just 15 minutes ago I am playing through the Tiger Challenge and the game just freezes while loading the 3rd Hole of the 5 skins challenge vs Henrietta Brockway. Hmm OK maybe my Xbox had a hiccup so I restart it and it freezes at the same fucking time as last time. At this point im steaming and count to 10 slowly to avoid going on a rampage and killing every small animal in a 5 mile radius. I finally bring myself to try ONE MORe time and low and behold it does it again and then I check their forums and apparently its happening to everyone. This is like the 10th
challenge in the game so how in the hell do they miss something as big as this?

To sum it all up EA sucks the big one. Instead of wiping their asses with money earned from the assload of games they publish a year they should actually invest some of that money into improving on aspects that are promised to the consumer.

Even though it sucks to have a bug in game that crashes the game like that, sometimes companies can miss them if it is that serious a problem EA will contact most retailers and inform them to offer a refund to customers who bought the game or even issue a recall to customers, if they dont issue this thats when you should get real angry.

Can we add Madden 08 to the EA|FU list? I am finally glad they got the gameplay right, but there are some ridiculous glaring bugs in the other modes.

1. No saving of replays. I think Madded '95 had this. Apparently lost in the shuffle...

2. According to my buddy "The crowd reactions are about as high tech as the 'head turning' in Tecmo Bowl."

3. Statistics during franchise mode are totally f'd. It works out to where defensive players intercepted more passes than the interceptions that QB's threw. (e.g. in a simmed game Eli Manning throws 3 INT's and the opposing defense records 6 INT's)

4. Also, quoting a friend, "I also for some reason have a giant-ass Lombardi Trophy in my Franchise room after losing the NFC championship in 2009. No idea why." Guess they felt bad for him. And FYI, the Lombardi Trophy goes to the SUPER BOWL WINNER.

Keep in mind that I have only played for a total of 10 hrs or so.

Seriously, are play testers even employed at EA? And if they are, they are probably the managements kids or some gay ass shit.

This has to be some sort of sick joke. So I tried their "fix" to stop it from freezing which was holding down the A button when you start the game from the dashboard and it didnt work. Ok maybe I didn't hold it down long enough, so this time I hold the A button down from the time I start the game until I go through their menu and load tiger challenge and it still fucking freezes. It wouldn't be as bad trying their so called fixes if I didnt have to play through 3 holes before the game froze. I'm really starting to think this is a big ploy to see how many things they can do half assed until people actually stop buying their games.

skate reel works okay for me, so i enjoyed the demo. Gameplay sucked, buggy broken unplayable mess, but skate reel worked.
