I have a friend who is in need of some web cam help. I have never used a web cam, but being the friend who fixes computers puts me in the position of helping him.
So, how would I go about setting up a web cam to watch over a few puppies? These puppies are still young so they would like to keep an eye on them while at work. I assume this would include the use of a site to host streaming video of the puppies so any links to some solid sites would help.
Also camera recommendations would be grand. I believe they would be looking for a simple camera, preferably with the ability to angle the lens down and clip it to a vertical piece of wood. It does not have to be hi-def.
And seeing as how i could not find a decent web cam discussion thread, discuss anything else about jumping into the technology head first. (software, camera models, ...)
