Splinter Cell: CT Recalled?

Hi, I've been looking around for copies of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for XBox in the past few weeks and I haven't been able to find any. I found them at one store, but they wouldn't sell it to me because they said it was recalled. I have no idea if this is true or not, but either way, I am unable to find it for purchase anywhere.

If it is a recall, I'm guessing it has something to do with xbox360 compatibility issues, but I'm just speculating.

Does anyone know what the story behind this is?

    I don't think a recall would do much good nowadays, since damn near every copy that will ever be sold has already been sold.

    Odds are whoever you were talking to was a dumbass. I'd try to speak with a manager to fingure out why they won't sell you a new copy of a two year old Xbox game.
