    Yeah, I thought about that, but I figured they could just move it if they wanted to.

    I like the fact that it's high. I don't think it would look good if it was centered on the shirt. I'm not a fan of orange and black though so I'd be interested in some other color schemes.

    It might technically be centered left/right on the shirt but it doesn't "feel" centered. I would have probably bumped it further to the right since the mouthpiece doesn't really have any visual weight to it. A few other colors for the stripes might have been cool. Something like blue/green/yellow on a blue shirt. More Doctor Seuss-ish.

    Yeah, again, I just thought that they'd move it if they wanted to. Thanks for the kind words though.

    It's important to remember things like the placement ahead of time instead of "they can change it later" because subconsciously people make rating choices on stuff like that. Not that there is anything you can do about it at this point but something to consider in the future.

    All in all it's not a bad illustration, perhaps it would be great for someone who really appreciated brass instruments. Seems like most of the shirts coming out of threadless have some goofy pun though (which I personally can't stand but hey people like it).

    What's funny is that all of the comments have high praise for the shirt. If you don't like it, at least say why or what can be done to improve.

    Thanks for the kind words. It's not really a big deal I guess. I'll probobly make one of these for myself in black on white. I had my first real art lesson on tuesday and I have a portrait class tonight so I'll post some new stuff soon.
