I just found Animated Manhattan after paying a visit to Cartoon Brew. I don't live in New York City, nor have I ever been there (though I hope to go sometime soon), but since I'm sure at least some of you live there, you might be interested in this blog.
Basically it's a collection of animated depictions of New York City from various cartoons like An American Tail, TMNT, and Futurama. Each entry includes screencaps and commentary on how faithfully the city is reproduced and points out landmarks. It'll be interesting to read comments from people who actually live in NYC.

BTW, this screencap from The Critic is gorgeous.
Unless I'm missing something, you should pony up the link too.
I immediately recognize the screen cap from The Critic. I miss that show so hard. Seriously, what the fuck else is Jon Lovitz doing nowadays? Resurrect that shit with your "Yeah, that's the ticket!" money!

Animated Manhattan
I call shenanigans.
They had a fight on the roof of the World Trade Center for gof's sake
And another on the Statue of Liberty
No, I'm kidding, they probably just haven't gotten to it yet.
