The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Holy crap, you're the space christ guy? I really hate to say it, but that from three years ago has so much more visual vigor and flow than the comics you're doing now, which in comparison seem so stiff and lifeless.

I kinda wish you would post all your stuff in one thread, because it would be easier to see things like this.

but Space christ is pretty great.
I didn't know that was a rule when I first joined here, so I made separate threads for Flight of the Living Dead, Space Christ, The Sundays, and Lightshade. Now I understand everyone gets a single thread, so I resurrect old threads rather than create new ones. On Penciljack, where I'm a moderator, the rule is that new artwork requires new threads, so I spend a lot of time breaking up threads where people have added onto an old one. It's tough to get used to a forum where the opposite is the norm.
If a moderator wanted to merge all my threads and call it Scott Ewen's Comics or whatever they wanted to call it, that's fine with me.
I just want to say that I LOVE that Space Christ has the body of He-Man.
YES. He's a comic book hero, he needs to look like one.
For the original comic I took a cue from John Carter of Mars, but for this new one I'm thinking more in terms of '60s Jack Kirby Thor kind of vibe. I asked Brian Lynch if he wanted to write the new one, but he said he's too busy right now so I'mma write it myself.
I'm trying to think of elements to incorporate into the new story. It will be about 1-8 pages long and be in color, and I'll probably be doing it in my spare time over the next few months just as a thing to have some fun with at the end of the day.
I'm thinking of adding a new character or two, possibly Mary Magdalene or the big G Himself. I also want to incorporate his ability to walk on water, as seen in the latest sketch I drew. So I'm taking suggestions for awesome things to put in the story.

Like Batman's batarangs, they can do all kinds of stuff. Explosive, shock charges, you name it.
