I do not have sound since my latest reformatting, and I have no clue where to start. I'm sure I need drivers or something, but I'm not sure exactly which I would be needing. Where do I figure out what kind of sound drivers I need?

That will tell you what type of card you have.
Then search that in Google, and find the drivers.
