Yep. Used it there too. Then I ran screaming because the G4 boards are the Internet equivalent of Barter Town crossed with an insane asylum.

I have a new soccer blog The Minnow Tank. Reading it psychically kicks Sepp Blatter in the bean bag.

My handles are generally character names, or, on rare occasion, my "artist name" (because my actual name is so absurdly generic it hurts, I'm like just below "John Smith" in the generic names list).

I settled on Incenjucar, which is based on my overriding preffered character themes, without being really connected to roleplay. Also, it's unique on the internet, so ego-googling is fricking easy.

I usually go by either jpeg/jpg or periscope. Jpeg originated about 5 or so years ago on a Final Fantasy forum just because I used to make banners for people. Periscope is from an Of Montreal song, "Inside A Room Full Of Treasures, A Black Pygmy Horse Pops Its Head Up Like A Periscope". Sometimes it's lengthened to Periscopehorse.

God this horrible girl I knew for a long time and dated for like 2 days used "Drez" as her online name. She is all that is pure and evil in this world. So if I'm every unnecessarily mean to you, that would be the reason.

As for mine? Yoda is awesome and I was eating a tuna sandwich when I came up with it. The only place I can't use the fucking thing is on xbox live. I registered as YodaTuna originally when Live first went up and let the account lapse. I went back a few years later and it asked for my old credit card number(which had long since expired) to get my name back. It was so retarded. I'm still pissed to this day.

So I just added CTU because I was playing a lot of Rainbow Six: Vegas and watching 24.

I've been using SteevL in one way or another since I first dove into IRC in 1995. It's probably obvious that it's a variation on my real name.

The first handle I ever used was on a local BBS. Handles had a 29-character limit, so I thought it would be "funny" if I used all 29 characters. And lo, "God told me to skin you alive" was born.

I'm common as muck, but I'm from the Home Counties and my friends were from Lancashire and Yorkshire, so they thought I talked posh, and it stuck.

I picked Crimson King when I registered for these forums just after reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. It's generally taken for gaming purposes, so I often go with Crimson Khan instead. I've been meaning to pick a different name for purposes of non-violent communication, though - Visionary, perhaps. I like the sound of that.

Man, so many. So many. Mostly from pulp fantasy books. I try to use a shortened version of my real name when dealing with anything "serious", but nobody here could spell it, so I asked Tube to change it to an aforementioned fantasy name. Lately I've been branching out into anime-based names as well.

I don't remember most of them, but I've been Ishaemael (DAoC), Dorrin (also DAoC), Tel Janin (and variants), and Vincent La. Ishaemael was a pain in the ass because people often tried to "correct" my spelling.

I've used a lot of handles over the years.

Mato and Axatard were a couple good ones.

I started posting in P-A around the time they had a funny strip involving Yar's Revenge. Now Yar and The Yar have stuck and followed me many places.

It's not exactly original, but whatever. A lot of people think it's a pirate thing. I guess it was originally sort of that, too.

I have used this handle since 1999. I have another internet name I use for more serious interaction, or for when I talk to people I know IRL (because mine sounds retarded) which is just a shortening of my first and last names.

I'll be using this one for some time, just to see what kind of internet trail I leave. Vanity searches for my name reveal stuff I'd completely forgotten I'd ever done.

Back in the day my parents got a german shepherd from the SPCA

On the tag its said "Can Go"

They named it Cango (pronounced with a long A, like in Cane. Cane Go, pretty much)

Years later, after the dog was dead, my mom signed up for a 2am games account, (Chain of Command, if anyone remembers it) using the name Cango.

She never played the game, I did.

Some places wont allow the name Cango. In those events, I use Cango1, KingCango, or CangoFett.

    The named the dog Indiana!
