Getting Photos Off Ipod

So I'll be brief, I have photos on my ipod, but no longer have the computer/itunes that I put them on there with. I know want them OFF the ipod, so I can save them to my hard drive, and clear up some space on the ipod. How do I do that? Or am I doomed to lose them? Thanks for any help.

    Should just be able to plug it in in Disk Mode, and then explore the iPod with My Computer or whatever. Usually it'll be in a folder named Photos.
