Hey I just recently got the dreaded Red Ring of Light on my beloved 360 and now they say it will take 3-5 weeks for me to get a new one sent to me : (. So I was just wondering if anyone had any games they could suggest to keep me busy for the 3-5 weeks of hell. I have a PS2 by the way so if you know any games to keep me busy pleaseeeeeeeeee tell me.

    God Hand for the PS2.

Do you have a PC? If so, Mount and Blade.

Persona 3. You'll be lucky to finish it under 70 hours.

.hack//G.U. series. The third and final volume just came out. It's quickly become one of my favorite series on the platform, and it can easily keep you busy for more than five weeks. There's an incredible amount of content to complete even after you complete the main story, and save games can be transfered over to the next volume, thus keeping all your stats, equipment, items, etc. You'll even get bonuses in the next game if you've completed certain things from the previous one, which can really drive you to become a completionist.

Thread over. All you other sons'a'bitches lose.

so why does this red ring of light happen? I am planning on getting a 360 soon so it worries me a bit. Do i need to buy the extended warranty in case it happens or can I just return it or what?

I'm pretty sure every 360 has an automatic 3 year warranty now, but I'm not sure.

    Just for the 3 lights.

If anything else happens, it's just the regular warranty.

They told me 6 weeks, and I got mine back within 10 days, so your milage may vary on that. I think it depends on whether they decide to actually fix your machine or just send you a refurb/new system.

Just buy Persona 3. You won't be done by the time your 360 is back, and you won't stop playing just because your 360 is back. It's that good.

I'd report it but its probably something I would have said.

But then I'm sometimes known as "the asshole" to friends.

Its usually bastard, but only sometimes asshole. And that seemed more of an assholish thing to do than a bastardly thing to do.

Oh god, I actually feel bad now.

Sorry, I was just lashing out a bit. I got my tonsils out Wednesday and I'm in a hell of a lot of pain and on painkillers. I didn't mean it.

Try getting DDR for the PS2 and play it for a couple of weeks. I know whenever I have nothing else to do that seems to pass the time quickly. It's also good for you.

Unless your a wimp and play using the ps2 controller, then your thumbs just get blisters.
