First off please excuse my grammar, my question mark is a É and my slash is a é my apostrophe an è etc.. stupid laptop keyboard. ANYWAY

Alritey, I tried to load up d2, and instead of being a nice blizzard game and insta loading I have run into a problem of some sort. I hit run, run in administrator mode, run it from the CD, run with d2loader(bypasses cd, I thought that was the original problem) and it just wont start up. I hit the Olde Cntrl Alt Delete and what do I find.. Game.EXE running. It is taking up 0 of my system process and I cant end it. I tried loading it up about 4 more times, then 5 minutes later BOOM D2 pops up.

Any help would be super!

I thought this thread might be about complaining about boot up times for games, and mentally prepared a rant whilst it was loading -

Damn it! Why would a developer construct inefficient menus, make unskipable videos, have long starting animations, basically do anything to reduce the amount of time it take for me to get from pressing on to playing the game. I hate it. The first console manufacturer to have a set of guidelines for what constitues a 'good game' and offer license subsities for games following those criterie, will get my money. Twilight Princess (maybe Zelda as a whole (maybe Nintendo games in general)) is quite guilty of this, it delays you at any oppertunity, which is enderring at first, but I do not need to watch the same animation hundreds of times!)

It would be things like - (quantifiably) short load times; (quantifiably) short boot up times; no in game ads; if it only gets a Japanese release, make it region free and have most languages available (if only for menus and such, obviously depends on nature of game); quick pause/unpause times; few glitches.

    /rant.

First off, have you tried rebooting?

This problem has been ongoing for the last two days, I am running out of things to try.

You did try backing up your saves and reinstalling the game, right?
