So I was looking around ign at some trailers and i came across the NiGHTS trailer for Wii. I noticed that when I clicked on the IGN Insider only movie, I got an error saying I must be logged into IGN Insider to download the movie. Much to my surprise, Safari started to download the movie anyway. I tried this out on a bunch of different Insider Exclusive movies, and they all download with little problem. Sometimes you have to click on the link a few times, but as long as you click on the "Right-click to save", the movies should download regardless.
I was just wondering if this was a Safari thing or what. Anyone have an idea?

It works for me in Firefox on OS X as well. I right click, the "you must be a subscriber" thing pops up, but the context-menu pops up anyway and I can click save as
I wonder if this is isolated to browsers that have a seperate download manager ie: firefox and safari, thus not letting internet explorer download or if this only works on macs? Can PC users download movies for free on firefox?
