I've been politely informed my opening thread was a bit brash. I'm sorry. I do NOT want to shit on Halo fans. Halo is not my gig, and I know there are tons of other game lovers out there that feel the same. September 25th is practically a holiday at this point: posters, TV, online - it's HUGE. Great for fans, and I'm psyched for you. I also am curious what those of us who don't dig Halo will be playing that day. I mean we've seen Bioshock come out on PC, Eternal Sonata on XBox 360, World in Conflict hit on the RTS front, there's good stuff happening here. When Sept. 25th rolls around what will you be playing. I'm curious! And I appologize to Halo fans about the thread title and my original post.

I played Halo 1 and 2, and I don't care. I don't want a flame war. I'm not dissing what you dig. Let's just hear from the people who also don't give a shit about Halo 3. There are better (In my EVER so humble opinion) FPS's out there and frankly: we should be talking about them. September 25th - what will the "I don't give a shit about Halo" fans be playing? Gears of War? UT? Shit even Doom? Anything. Let's see what FPS games are all about. And if you love Halo, go for it - enjoy your thread a few posts above, below, or wherever. Am I alone mother fuckers (Mother fuckers is a term of endearment)? Or will I be the only gamer on the planet not cumming on Master Chief's helmet?

I also know Halo has never floated my boat, blown my hair back, etc. I'm sure I'm not alone. I have to stress: no dickheadedness is meant with this thread

You're better off hanging out in the Bioshock or COD4 threads. Or hell, make your own thread about a game that doesn't yet have a thread, and that you're interested in. Making a thread for people who "don't give a fuck about Halo 3" is just going to get you flamed, and rightly so. It comes off as flamebait, no matter what you say to the contrary.

While I'm in here and this thread is getting loads of views, can anyone recommend me a Megaten game (or any of the spin-offs) to pick up, keeping in mind that I'm:
1) In Europe
2) Have never played any of these games before, but have played buttloads of other (S)RPG's
