I've noticed this before, and it kind of bugs me. I'm just curious, mostly.

he means whenever he rolls the mouse wheel, there is corresponding electrical interference over the audio channels. I've heard it before on some computers. No I don't know more on why it bleeds into the audio.

Out of curiosity what type of mouse is it and what connection is it plugged in through?

i used to hear interference when i moved my mouse.

I replaced the mobo with one that wasn't a piece of shit, and all was well.

I used to have a problem like this, too. I had completely forgotten about it until now.

The problem for me was that I was still using integrated audio. I bought a classier sound card and things went down smooth.

My old computer used to do this bad. Not just with the mouse wheel but with everything. You could hear the interference when playing games, and you could tell when the computer was under heavy load because the interference would "slow down". You could hear it when the hard drive was cranking away, when flash was running, basically whenever it was doing something. It was an MSI 865PE Neo-2 motherboard (not bad for its time) and always figured it was a problem with the integrated sound but never got a chance to test a real sound card in it. The computer finally kicked the bucket a few weeks ago.

I had this on an old PC. A cheap sound card seemed to clear it up.

Can't remember if it was a USB mouse or not, though. Was awhile back.

USB mouse, onboard sound. That sounds like a likely culprit.
