Computer woes

So we all know that these damn computers can be a pain. Here's what's going on with mine. A few months ago my internet would randomly stop working on my PC. I have wifi at home and it still works when I use the internet through my laptop or wii, so I know its not a modem/router problem. If I reset my PC the internet works again, but for a limited time only. This is a fairly new computer so I don't expect old age to be the cause of the problem. If I try to run any sort of virus or spyware scan it doesn't ever find anything. Anybody have any ideas?

I used to have a similar problem, but weirder.
If I used the internet, it would shut off after some time. But if I didn't use my computer for a day, I'd get an hour of internet. If I didn't use the computer for a hour, I got some minutes of internet.
The solution? I later got new hardware and had to format. I guess your internet card might be broken, or there is some very bad spyware. Could try updating your internet drivers.

Or it could be a situation where your windows drivers and the proprietary drivers that came with your card (assuming you have any) are in conflict.
