Sure, you may know about Ikaruga 360 and Ban-gai-O for ye olde DS, but some of the other things mentioned in this interview will also shock and awe some of the big Treasure fanboys who roam these parts.
(Hint:Think about dumping Radiant Silvergun in the next year or so.)
In the other thread I mentioned that I had already dropped $Texas on a JPN DC copy of Ikaruga some time ago, but I'll still buy it on XBLA. Especially now that I heard it'll support TATE and will probably only be $10.
Online multiplayer should be awesome. Ikaruga is the only multiplayer shooter I've played where your ships actually bump into each other.

I sold all three US copies of Ikaruga I had. I still have my import DC copy from waay back. One was sealed, and got me a ton, the other two got a respectable amount from EBstop due to stacking promotions. I don't have a 360, but will when that comes out. What a good deal, considering I paid all of $15 for all three.
Another reason I'm stoked for Ikaruga hitting Live Arcade is my old roomate and I used to play it a lot, but he shipped out for the Navy a while ago. I guess whenever he's not out and about he's able to play his 360 so we could play co-op again, and having voice chat will make the experience authentic.
It's just not Ikaruga without the "fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck so many missles shit fuck fuck fuck fuck I died fuck!" coming from one or the other of us.

It'll be nice for me too, as I've never found anyone I could play along with that could beat level 2. I can just barely beat it all without continuing.
When I went through my Ikaruga obsession on the Gamecube, I noticed that I did a lot better in single-player than I did in co-op. My friends and I had the problem where we would be opposite colors, and the explosion from one player's kill would destroy the other player. Also, none of my friends cared about chaining, and I was a chaining whore.
Maybe Xbox Live can help me find skilled co-op partners, but it still seems to me like a lot of planning is involved if you want to chain a whole stage in co-op.
It would be awesome to be able to play Radiant Silvergun again.
I've almost always found shumps easier in single player because it's rare that you play coop with someone as good or better than you plus sharing lives/credits/items doesn't help.
I'm hanging on to my copy of radiant silvergun simply for nostalgia purposes along with Panzer Dragoon Saga but I am very happy about Xbox Live Arcade, bringing games out that were previously not obtainable by the majority of gamers due to inflated prices. Now if we can get Panzer Dragoon Saga is some form or another I'll be content - it's not the end all be all of gaming but I know a lot of people who still haven't got to play it.

Anyway, can't wait to see more from that wii game.

I believe that's the idea. If I still had a copy, I'd sell it sooner rather than later.
