Im looking to upgrade the headset for my 360, but reviews for any of the headsets seems pretty bad. Has anyone found a 360 compatible headset thats worth the money? I like the idea of the wireless but not if its going to brick in less then 6 months. I don't want to pay 60 bucks for MS's very own disposable headset. Thanks for any info!
I loved my logitech wireless headset for my regular xbox but I havent heard many good reviews on the new 360 wireless headset. Seems like alot of people have problems with fast depleting batteries and static issues. Do you know if they have made changes since the original release to fix some of these problems with the new wireless headset?

Supposedly the new wireless headset hardware has been tweaked. Newly manufactured ones have new internals or something.
I'm not sure how long they've been in production, but I do know that all Halo 3 edition wireless headsets have this new revision and the white/standard versions have been in production for a little while. I'm not sure if some of the older builds are still in the retail channel or not.
Bungie had a podcast where they demoed the Halo 3 version and they had nice things to say about it. And since I'd been paranoid of getting an older build, I picked of the Halo ones up. I really like it, but my usage has been limited due to my 360 slowly dying (again). It's bigger than what product pictures on the net might have you think, but it's very comfortable.
