A goodbye care package.

My boyfriend and myself and parting ways since we are both attending different colleges.

I want to make him a small care package for him to open up once he arrives at his college. I have a few things in mind that I want to get him. A picture of us in a sleek frame. Some of his favorite super sour candy and a bottle of lube since I wont see him for weeks at a time.

He is attending school in Bellingham so it is cold there, I got him a coffee mug I already gave too him, but maybe hot coco mix?

Anything you guys would want too see from your girlfriends would help a lot.

I think what you put in there depends a lot on whether you guys will still technically be a couple. I am guessing not since you said parting ways, and in that spirit, I would like to see lots of magazines.

Something my ex did for me that was really awesome was (right before a flight) dropping one of her hair scrunchies/clips/whatever in my bag unexpectedly. Perhaps I'm just sentimental, but it seemed like something only she could give me- I couldn't buy it or anything.


edit: to guy above, I thought the same thing, but the "lube because we won't see each other for weeks" thing gave me the impression that at the conclusion of said weeks said lube would be unnecessary.

Oh yeah, I thought the lube was a cool idea- I was just clarifying for the guy above that it seemed as though you were still dating since he seemed unsure.

I'm a fan of the cocoa mix idea, or his favorite kind of tea if he's a tea drinker.

I was thinking Oregon Chai Tea mixes, which I really like. Not sure, cocoa is a safer bet. He usually drinks the tea I make him, which is green or oolong, poor kid has only been exposed to Lipton.

Get him Mate... Good tea, and the caffeine in it doesn't hit you really hard, seems to come on slowly and just keep you nice and alert.

Also if he does like tea, I can second the yerba mate' suggestion. I love this stuff and must drink 12 gourds of it a day.

In addition to the above, You might want to get a brand new fluffy washcloth to "clean up" after using the lube (you know he will). if you have the cash go ahead and get it emboidered with his initals.

I love the hair scrungie or other personal, non panties item as well, especially if you can leave some kind of you scent on it (like a gentle spray of perfume, or your favorate shampoo or something.

Ill look for this yerba mate' stuff Never heard of it, hopefully it isn't too hard too find. And we already both have copies of game boy tetris.
