DVD drive doesnt get recognised

my computer is pretty fucked, the DVD drive doesnt get recognised when i put a CD in it, the CD ROM drive is the same story.

i tried to restart, but nothing, any help on this?

I FUCKING HATE SIGNATURES.

    When did this start happening? What changed between it working and it not working? Is it a SATA or IDE connection? Computer specs/OS? Etc.

    it just worked. so i guess its just random, oh well its not my computer so im not gonna try to fix it.
