I find most of prime time TV to be horribly dull and uninteresting, but find Family Guy and Simpsons to be hilarious.
From this I can infer that different people have different interests. There's probably a thread somewhere for something that interests you.

The Airplane! reference was spot on. The laughter and cheering in the background was kind of off-putting though, but I'm a spoilsport like that.
All that means is that you'll be able to enjoy it more once you see it tonight, because you'll be able to hear everything.
See I don't worship SW that much so I didn't know what he meant. I just assumed it was destroyed.
I used to love Family Guy, back in the original seasons 1-3. But ever since it came back from cancellation, it's been boring as hell. It should have stayed cancelled and gold, rather than return as a weak shadow of its former self.
Fortunately FOX doesn't cancel shows based on your views, because a lot of people still enjoy it.
I just hate what they've done to Stewie. I liked it when he was a diabolical baby genius bent on world domination. Nowadays he's a lot lamer.

My only complaint as well. I never have felt that the newer episodes were weaker than the original.
What does that have to do with Richy's views and their bearing on FOX's marketing decisions?
I didn't claim it wasn't canceled, or that FOX doesn't cancel a lot of good shows.

I don't even need to look because it has nothing to with what I said. I know there are a lot of anti-fox jokes in FOX cartoons. What does all this have to do with Richy's views specifically having a bearing on Fox (which is what I was talking about)?
I could turn it right around and say there must be a lot of people who like it or it wouldn't be back.
I didn't watch the last season of Family Guy, and only about half of the season before that, since I wasn't laughing much, but I'll watch tonight's episode to see if it's any better than when I stopped.

Are you even paying attention? At no point did I claim his views were unique. I was making a smartass comment because he was saying FG should have stayed dead, even though a lot of people still like the show. His attitude would annoy anyone that still likes the show.

Now that they are making new shows, and I'm not watching them, I don't really care whether or not they stop making them. It's just one more show in the very long list of shows I don't watch.
I enjoy the new episodes and someone wanting the show canceled does not annoy me. It's not really a big deal.

In my opinion, Simpsons has been going on for way too long. It's a shitty show, not funny in the least, and generally a waste of air time.
However, other people like it. So meh.
